The Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment (MSJ&E) is the nodal department of Government of India for the overall policy, planning and coordination of programmes/ schemes for the development and welfare of marginalised and vulnerable groups.
Under MSJ&E there are many schemes designed and implemented through various Central/ State Govt. Departments/ other implementing agencies which need to be monitored and evaluated from time to time.

NTA has been established by the Ministry of Education, Government of India (GoI), as an independent, autonomous and self-sustained premier testing organization under Society Registration Act 1860 for conducting efficient, transparent and international standards tests, in order to assess the competency of candidates for admission to premier higher education institutions.
National Testing Agency (NTA) has been entrusted with the responsibility of conducting the Exam for recruitment of State Co-ordinators for PMUs of MoSJ&E.
